How Does FIBROBLAST Work?

Fibroblast is a relatively new innovation in the beauty industry in North America but has been used for a number of years in Europe. The extremely accurate hand-held device works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gasses emitted from our skin, to form a plasma charge. A small electrical arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The tissues retract and tighten giving you more youthful looking skin. 

What to expect

Fibroblast is virtually painless and doesn’t require anesthesia. Numbing cream is used to minimize discomfort during procedure. Side effects are minimal and complications rare. Carbon crusts, a tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin are part of normal healing process. Correctly treated with after-cream will cause no threat and fall off 5-7 days after treatment. After-care instructions will be given to a patient following the procedure. It is very important to adhere to our after-care advice.


Once the procedure is completed, you can expect the small dots to scab over and fall off after about 1 week. Over the next couple of weeks, as your skin heals, it should appear tighter and firmer.

When Can You Expect Results?

Most clients see results immediately! Some patients may see benefits from one treatment, while others may require three treatments before they see results. For fine lines, (most) patients require two treatments, as a touchup treatment must be followed 8 weeks after the first treatment.


Effectiveness of results are dependent on the implementation of after-care procedures. Additionally, there are lifestyle factors that can prevent the result from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption and prolonged sun exposure.


Further treatments to achieve better results are possible however, appointments must be spaced out by 4-8 weeks.
